Mayan World Family Adventures (“Mayan World”, “we”) plans private family journeys in Guatemala and prepares personalized travel proposals.

What we collect

We only collect what a family chooses to give us in the trip planning request (“Plan My Family Adventure”):

• • Interests you select (for example surf, fishing, nature, culture, relaxation).
• • Any optional notes you write.

We do not ask for passports, birth dates, medical or dietary records, government identifiers, or payment details on this site. Please do not send that kind of information through the planning request.

Why we use it

To understand who is travelling, prepare a private trip proposal, and reply to you by email or WhatsApp about that proposal. Ages and party composition are used only to size rooms, transportation and age-appropriate experiences. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising profiling.

Information stored in your browser

While you fill in the planning steps, your selections are saved locally in your own browser (local storage) so you do not lose them if you reload the page. That copy stays on your device and you can clear it through your browser settings. This preview site does not run advertising cookies or third-party analytics or tracking scripts.

Third parties

To operate the service we rely on ordinary providers such as website hosting and email or messaging tools, and, once a trip moves forward, on the accommodation, transport and guiding partners needed to deliver your journey. We share only what is necessary for those purposes.

Retention and security

We keep planning requests only as long as needed to prepare and follow up on your proposal and to keep reasonable business records, and we apply reasonable measures to protect them. No online service can promise absolute security, so we do not claim it.

Children

This site is intended for adults planning family travel. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children. Information about travelling children should be provided only by a parent or guardian, and should be limited to what is needed to plan the trip.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the information you sent us, or ask us to stop contacting you, and we will act on reasonable requests. Depending on where you live, local data protection law may give you further rights.
